Drabble #37: Goodbye

Isaac had missed the joint funeral for Allison and Aiden, instead staying home in attempts to keep Stiles sleeping as long as he could. But now, Stiles was with Scott, and Isaac was at the cemetery, crouching between the two graves.

He looked from Allison’s marker to Aiden’s, and thought about what he wanted to say to both of them. First to Allison, “I’m really sorry I lied to you. And I wanted to thank you for saving me.” Then to Aiden, “I’m sorry I never gave you a chance. You helped save him, and can’t ever thank you enough.”
