#07, Feelings
Despite what happened after their dinner, there was no doubt in Scott’s mind during his date with Lydia that he had feelings for her. A lot of feelings, and perhaps had even been underlying for a very long time but just concealed by a lot of other stuff going on.
She was beautiful, and he really wanted to give this thing a try. She was easy to talk to, and he knew there were probably a lot of reasons why this shouldn’t work. None of which seemed to matter anymore after they had all dealt with so much pain lately.
