Ian knew that Mickey would give his left nut to be able to fix him. On the outside, he was a complete hardass who would fuck you up in a heartbeat. That was why Ian fell hard for him in the first place, but it was the soft side Mickey had towards him that turned lust into love.
Lying there quietly, watching Mickey sit naked with a beer and a cigarette trawling through Google for something – anything – to understand better, Ian wished he could give him the answers. In a rare moment for him, he wished they could be normal.
