Detached

I'm supposed to be detached from my work right now. Spending a week off at an expensive resort with just the man I love. No phone calls, no media, no obligations. But I can't stop looking forward. Thinking about how I could have been better - if I could've won one more race, or not crashed in Louisiana, or fought harder in Fontana. Worrying about if I can reach that same standard next year. I'm a champion and I'm still looking to be better. I don't know if that's aspiring to greatness, or sadness that I can't just be happy.
