I've never lived my life in controversy. I carry a responsibility on my shoulders to my family, as a teammate, as a representative of the Verizon IndyCar Series and as a public figure. Every time I step outside my front door I'm always aware of the fact that people are watching everything that I do and I need to behave accordingly. That's something I take very seriously, and I also take pride in knowing that I can stand here with my head held high.
