Insecurity plays a pretty big part. He's a musician who occasionally has to go on tour for weeks at a time and I'm... sexually enthusiastic. And that's just the stuff that wouldn't be a total downer. I do love him though. And God help him, he loves me. Though I doubt we'd ever go the ring route. We have more of a one day at a time sort of romance. Like AA with more sex and better coffee.
