#12 THERAPY
Euan knew it was coming, but that hadn’t been enough to prepare for how he would feel when he started to lose his hair from the chemotherapy. It seemed like such an insignificant thing comparable to everything else. He just couldn’t face losing it in bits and pieces, so he closed himself in the a bathroom alone to shave his head, for some reason getting emotionally stretched and breaking down in tears, drowned out by the sound of the electric razor.
He thought he would’ve been tough enough to face all this head-on. He couldn’t have gotten it more wrong.
