If there was one near-impossible situation your muse could be put in, what would it be? How would they handle it and why can they barely face it?

Liam had built so many protective walls up around himself that a jaded outlook on life and the simple, beautiful things it could offer was inevitable. He witnessed love and happiness all around him, but convinced himself that it didn’t happen to people with the sort of luck he had.

But to meet one person by chance three times running in the biggest city in the world when the person was a stranger, could that mean something? He shoved the earbuds back into his ears and took off jogging again, but not before he paused for a moment, turning back to find the guy had turned in his direction at the same moment. He didn’t want to believe in kismet. Because he wasn’t sure he would ever be ready again to face what that truly meant, and how much of his securely hidden self he would ultimately have to expose.
