This used to be a weekly thing for Nathan, but he had found it difficult to face of late. The coma unit was a sombre place to be, and visitors weren’t here for a friendly chat or to bring their loved ones grapes or flowers to cheer them up. He hesitated before he stepped up to the bedside and gently wrapped his fingers around the limp hand resting on the bed.
