"Follow your heart, but take your brain with you."

Harry had never been the 'new kid' in school before, and it felt as awkward and embarrassing as it always looked when new kids showed up in your class. He had always lived in the same place since he was born, so he never had to change school. He went to the same ones his big brother and sisters all went to. Everything was happening a little quickly right now, but he knew if he didn't just roll with it, his broken heart would probably damage parts of him he was really proud of. In many ways, he was still a kid. This was all learning he had to do.

( Like any kid, Harry had his fair share of awkward moments but he felt beyond self-conscious the first day in his new school... )
