Make a list of songs on your playlist.
- "Never Gonna Stop" by Jay Kill and the Hustle Standard. ABC/ESPN plays it in our hero bumpers before commercial breaks and it's catchy.
- "Chasing the Sun" by The Wanted. That was the song before driver introductions at the Indy 500, where it got stuck in my head.
- "Animals" by Maroon 5. If we had individual driver introduction songs, this would be mine. Because I hunt you down and take you out.
- "Shut up and Dance" by Walk the Moon. The guys played this in a welcome back montage they made for me at the Championship Celebration. It always makes me smile to hear it now.
- "What Makes A Good Man" by The Heavy. Peter got me turned on to them when he played their album in the gym.
- "We Run This Town" by Luke Bryan. I don't like country, but I do like this song.
- "Thinking Out Loud" by Ed Sheeran. First of all, Ed Sheeran is adorable. Second of all, I enjoy playing this and making all the tough guys around me confused and slightly awkward.
- "Boom Clap" by Charli XCX. It's the song I use for my warm-up runs. Upbeat, but not too upbeat when I'm still trying to wake up and waiting for my coffee.
- "Timber" by Pitbull featuring Kesha. I believe everyone needs a good party song somewhere on their playlist at all times. You never know when you might need it.
- "Sugar" by Maroon 5. It calms me down when I'm in a bad mood. Or when my strategist blasts it in my ear during Carb Day, screw you Shane.
