124.4 - Cute
"Why is your last name different than daddy's?" The little girl asked over her orange slices.
"Well, we're not married anymore." Nikki replied pealing her own orange.
"Does that mean that I can marry daddy when I grow up?"
The question makes Nicole chuckle. "You trying to steal my boyfriend, Vi?"
Vivi giggles and nods enthusiastically making her mother laugh a little harder and toss a bit of peel at her.
"Too bad. He's all mine. You can't have him."
Vivi just giggles again. "Does that mean that you're going to marry him then? Then I could be a flower girl, right?"
"Is that why you want me to marry him? So you can get a new dress?"
"AND be a flower girl. That part is important." The six year old replied matter-of-factly.
"Well, you know, we already had a big wedding. If we did get married again it would probably just be at the courthouse like your Uncle Matt and Aunt Jen did."
Vivi seemed to consider this. "Can you have a flower girl at the courthouse?"
"I suppose so." Nikki shrugged.
"That's okay then." Vivienne decided finishing her snack and sliding off the chair to chase after the dog.
