The decision to adopt a child was a heavy one. It was a multifaceted bunch of emotions that you had to work through, especially if the reason was because you were no longer able to have children of your own. Cancer had left Rose needing a total hysterectomy, and so quickly that she never had time to realise the long-term impact. She and Angel had a two year old daughter who was their whole world, but as soon as they realised they couldn't have anymore of their own, it hit Rose that she wasn't done evolving their little family.
