It's not that. It's the sex thing. He's going to think the first thing I did when he dumped me was run out and have sex. Which I did, but it wasn't because I hadn't with him. This guy was just sweet and kind, and he had a peaceful feeling about him. I wanted the company and the comfort, I think. It's nice to be dumped for an ex. Made me feel worthless.

Honey, he broke up with you, and as much as that sucks, you have to do whatever you can to get past it in a way that you can deal with. It doesn't sound nice at all. Which is all the more reason to allow yourself to feel however you feel and do what you need to do.

I wasn't sure I wanted to at first. I just don't know how it will feel seeing him with his ex again.

That sounds pretty damn painful. But on the other hand, not seeing him at all sounds painful, too. I guess that's the decision you're faced with, and I don't envy you. It's a shitty choice to make.
