130.4. Drabble
Adoration
Casper hadn't been dating his new love, Lance, for very long, so he knew it was going to be a mean feat pulling off planning a surprise birthday party of him. But he absolutely adored him, and he was going to pull out all the stops if it killed him. Thankfully, he had a bit more time up his sleeve, because Lance was away on a couple of weeks of promo touring around the US with his band, so Casper not only had some more days to put his plans into action, Lance wasn't around to spring him on the job.
They were both big kids, so there was no way this couldn't be one giant excuse to throw a party with as many fun things as he could squeeze into his sprawling loft apartment. He was famous, so he had cash at his disposal. He was going to make the most of it. That was why he now had managed to squeeze in a jumping castle, a inflatable ball pit, a line of trampolines, a giant chess game, giant Lego, human-sized Jenga, Guitar Hero in his theatre room, fake Sumo Wrestling with those awesome fat suits, a velcro suit jumping wall, Bubble Soccer, some virtual reality headsets, a bubble machine, a wall of candy, junk food stands, and his pièce de résistance, a massive chocolate fountain he could probably bathe in.
Although some of their friends were tied up with some personal issues, even with short notice, loads of people had turned up. He was leading Lance in with a sparkly blindfold that said SEXY BITCH across it in rhinestones, and his boyfriend now had a cap on with a penis attached to the forehead, courtesy of Clint, who had taken advantage of the moment Lance had his eyes covered.
"What is it? Where's my birthday present? Can't you just tell me what it is? I'm going to piss my pants from excitement," Lance revealed with a grin.
Casper didn't quite trust the blindfold, so his fingers were holding the edges down while he shuffled Lance into his apartment. They were, after all, guys who were spotted by paparazzi on their first date to Disneyland, so Casper knew he had to try to top that. And he couldn't wait any longer, or he was going to pee his own pants. He whipped the blindfold of with a shout of, "SURPRISE!" in unison with everyone else. "Happy Birthday, hot stuff!" he added with a grin, bouncing up and down on the spot.
Lance looked so shocked, Casper worried for a moment or two that Lance really would wet himself. As soon as the surprise was shouted for half of New York to hear, the music started with Lance's favourite song, Money for Nothing. Casper had tried to think of everything.
"H-Holy fucking shitballs, Casp. Oh my fucking god, this is all for me?!" Lance shrieked and promptly pounced on Casper, knocking him back onto the jumping castle and planting a giant kiss on his lips.
Then he heard the song that was playing, and when he pulled back, meeting Casper's gaze, they both cried, "AIR GUITAR OFF!"
Casper was pretty sure in that moment, he knew he had truly found his soul mate.
