It was supposed to just be a typical night out with her BFF clubbing, laughing, drinking, and pointing out all the guys he shouldn't try to pick up for reasons X, Y, or Z. Not that he would ultimately probably pick anyone up, despite her nudging, because he was polar opposite to her and more (a lot more) on the shy side. But she still liked to make sure that if he did on the off chance, the dude was worthy of her beloved Winnie's peen. Whoever he ultimately settled for, they should be worthy of him. Yes, she was very protective of the people she loved, especially those who she considered brothers from another mother.

( They were getting there. Winnie had been doing his awkward 'I'd rather be anywhere but here' shuffle on the dancefloor that was cute but not that unlike dorky dad dancing... )
