RING

Chase still had his wedding ring. He never managed to bring himself to get rid of it. What did one do with a used wedding ring from a marriage that was now over with?

Shoved right at the back of his bottom drawer beside his bed was an old sock without a pair. He dug around for it and pulled it out. A pause, and then he tipped the ring into his palm. It was something that still held a lot of memories, good and bad. It was something he knew he could never just toss away as an afterthought.

Stiles was notoriously a Cheetos addict. It was the level of addiction that, if Cheetos Anonymous existed, he would be their biggest attendee.

In the early weeks of their flirtation one night, he was sprawled on his bed with a mouthful of Cheetos somewhat headbanging to Queen playing on the stereo and hand already stuffed in the bag for the next mouthful. That’s when he caught Isaac, who was sitting on the bed beside him, watching him with a smirk. He gave Isaac a dorky smile around the mouthful. This was the foundation for whatever it was happening between then.

James sojourn to Tiffany's had honestly been solely to buy Nat a gift, simply because she had been amazing and he wanted to emphasise how much he loved her and that, despite a bit of an initial freak-out, he was over the moon that she was having his second child. Sure, just like his toddler son, it had been an accident, but it had been an accident in a moment of comfort that they both needed and it ultimately led to a lot of confessions between them both. They decided together that Nat was definitely keeping the baby and they wanted to give it a working shot at a relationship together. James hadn't expected it to just click so easily, but it had.
